The Municipality of Novi Kneževac is located in the most northern part of Banat Region.
It is known for its cultural heritage, as the chapel of Serviski, the castle of Serviski - Shulpe, the castle of Maldegem, the icon of St. George in Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church of the Holy Archangel Michael.
The extraordinary park near the town centre, at the bank of the Tisa River is full of exotic plants, that brought here by Emil Talijan in the late 19th and the early 20th century from all over the world (Ginko tree, European Tisa, Juda’s tree, Panicing tree…).
The bank of the river is ideal for walking and bicycle riding.
